The Lean Startup Primer

Make Your Business a Success, not a Statistic

You may not have heard of them yet, but a year from now everyone will be talking about Lean Startups. Marrying 50 year old principles from lean manufacturing with the scary unknowns and blistering pace of building a new business, Lean Startups are here to stay for one simple reason: the lean principles work.

The Lean Startup Primer will give you a very practical crash course in what characterizes a Lean Startup, the principles that underly one, who's advancing the state of the art, and where to learn more. We'll also discuss how the real life ventures the attendees are involved in can either start out lean from day one, or if they're already running how they can start applying lean principles and techniques the very next day.

The course is taught by always-learning entrepreneur Nathaniel Talbott, the visionary behind Spreedly and the driving force at Terralien. Examples are drawn from Spreedly and also from Terralien's work building businesses with clients. Names may be changed to protect the innocent (or guilty!) but the examples are real.
